Progressive Judaism? Does it promote the principles and development of Liberal Judaism? Are you looking for funding for a new project? |
If so, the NLPS Trust for Progressive Judaism may be able to provide a grant to support your project. Each year the Trust is able to make grants totalling about £60,000. These range from a few hundred to several thousand pounds.
All grants support the advancement of Progressive Judaism, with a particular focus on communities and organisations which promote the principles and development of Liberal Judaism.
The Trust has previously funded all sorts of projects. We have contributed to:
In addition, the Trust has made grants to support various initiatives and programmes funded through Liberal Judaism (LJY bursary fund, LJY on-line programming, student rabbi living allowance bursary, LJ Biennials, subsidies for places at Limmud).

- Educational projects, such as equipment and books for religion schools
- Courses to train lay leaders, including Ba’alei Tefillah programmes
- Prayer books, haggadot and chumashim
- Portable arks and repair of scrolls
- Support for newly-established LJ communities
- Small-scale refurbishments/upgrades to synagogue buildings and furniture
- Live-streaming facilities
